3. AI & Automated Processing
KeyCoMatch uses third-party AI services to support informational and workflow features.
- User data is not used to train public AI models
- AI inputs may be processed temporarily for functionality, compliance, and cost control
- AI outputs are informational only — they do not constitute legal, financial, medical, or professional advice
- AI matching algorithms analyze compatibility based on user-provided profile data
- AI interaction metadata may be stored for platform improvement and usage tracking
4. Verification Services
When users initiate verification services, they may be required to submit personal information directly to third-party verification providers. KeyCoMatch does not collect, store, or process sensitive verification data such as government-issued identification numbers, credit reports, or criminal background records.
Payment for verification services may be processed by KeyCoMatch or by third-party providers, depending on the service selected. In all cases, verification data is governed by the privacy policies of the third-party providers responsible for the service.
KeyCoMatch may receive confirmation that a verification step was initiated or completed for platform functionality purposes only.
5. Credits, Add-Ons & Transaction Data
KeyCoMatch offers a credit-based system for add-on services such as listing boosts, verification credits, e-signature packs, mediation sessions, and spotlight campaigns.
- Credit purchase and usage history is stored for billing and account management
- Transaction data is processed through secure payment providers (Stripe, Apple App Store, Google Play)
- Credit balances and add-on entitlements are tracked within your account
- We do not share individual transaction data with third parties except payment processors
6. Referral Compensation & Professional Introductions
Important Disclosure
KeyCoMatch may receive referral compensation from licensed professionals (including realtors, mortgage brokers, and service providers) when a transaction occurs following an introduction made through the platform.
- Referral fees are paid by the professional, not by the user
- User pricing is not increased as a result of referral arrangements
- Referral compensation is subject to applicable provincial real estate laws and regulations
- In British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario, referral fees comply with the respective provincial real estate council rules
- All referral arrangements are documented in written agreements between KeyCoMatch and the professional
- Users are informed of referral relationships and must acknowledge this disclosure
7. Data Storage & Location
Data is primarily stored on AWS servers in Canada. Some data may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where service providers operate, with safeguards consistent with Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA).
8. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared with:
- Payment processors (Stripe, Apple, Google)
- AI service providers (under data protection agreements)
- Verification partners (Inline Reference Check, Toronto)
- Licensed professionals you are introduced to through the platform (with your consent)
- Legal or regulatory authorities where required by law
9. User Rights
Under PIPEDA and applicable provincial privacy laws, you have the right to:
- Request access to your personal data
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing
- File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada
10. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymized.
11. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including end-to-end encryption (at rest and in transit), 2FA/MFA, regular security audits, and DDoS protection. No system is 100% secure, but we are committed to industry-standard protection measures.
12. Changes to This Policy
